Software Warranty for Email For Help

Effective Date: 23 December, 2024

1. Limited Warranty
The author, Brett Jones, warrants that Email For Help (the “Software”) will perform substantially as described in the accompanying documentation for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”). If, during the Warranty Period, the Software fails to perform as described due to a defect in the code, Brett Jones will, at his discretion:

  • Provide a fix or update to correct the defect, or
  • Offer a refund of the purchase price upon receipt of proof of purchase and a detailed description of the defect.

2. Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty does not cover:

  • Defects or errors caused by improper use, unauthorized modifications, or use of the Software in a manner inconsistent with the documentation.
  • Compatibility issues arising from third-party software, email services, or operating system configurations not explicitly supported.
  • Incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Software.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to another party.


3. Disclaimer of Other Warranties
Except as expressly stated above, the Software is provided “AS IS” without any other warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

The author does not guarantee that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every hardware or software configuration.


4. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Brett Jones be liable for:

  • Any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • Any damages exceeding the purchase price paid for the Software.

Support is provided via email and includes reasonable efforts to assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting during the Warranty Period.


6. Governing Law
This warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes arising from this warranty shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Washington.


By using the Software, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this warranty. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and contact Brett Jones for assistance with a refund request, if eligible.
